Are you Covid-Safe?
Yes, M Flair Hair Artistry is registered as Covid-Safe with Service NSW.
What happens if Covid-19 affects my wedding?
If you are thinking about, or in the process of postponing your wedding to a different date please refer to the below conditions and please let me know ASAP.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. To secure your wedding date I require a $100.00 non-refundable booking deposit. Wedding dates cannot be held without your deposit. The remaining balance is to be paid 1 week prior to your wedding date via bank transfer.
When should I book you for my wedding?
I highly recommend that you book as soon as you have your wedding date confirmed; this is to ensure that you won’t miss out on your date. The closer you get to your wedding date, the less likely I am to have availability.
How far do you travel?
I travel all over the Central Coast, up to Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens. Please enquire within to receive travel costs and locations.
Do you do offer makeup with your hair services?
Unfortunately I no longer offer makeup with my hair services. I do however work alongside some amazing makeup artists and I am happy to recommend them to you.
What brands do you use?
I strive to only use the best products for my clients; they include Evo, Unite Hair Care and White Sands. I love and trust these products so much, that I know the outcome they will give me. This is why you can have piece of mind knowing that style will last all day and night.
Are hair trials necessary?
No, however I highly recommend them. They are a great way to meet me and we can discuss all your wedding plans. We can play around with ideas and styles to make sure you are 100% happy with how your hair looks and in turn this assists with the smooth running of your wedding day. The perfect time for your hair and makeup trial is 1-2 months prior to your wedding day, by this time all the finer wedding details are sorted. To lock in a trial date, please book at least 4 weeks out from your intended trial date. Pictures & Pinterest boards are a great way to show me your style & to find a look that you love, please bring them along with you on your trial day.
How close to my wedding should I refresh my colour?
I suggest the week leading up to your wedding is best. Please ensure that it isn’t the day or two before your special day, just in case you have a little colour stain on your face. If you were thinking of a complete colour change, it is best to trial this a couple months prior to your wedding. This can help with getting the colour perfect and making sure you love the change.
Do you work with extensions?
Yes I do. Clip in extensions are a great option for your wedding as they don’t cost a fortune and they are easy to work with. However, they are very soft and slippery to work with so I request you drop them off at least one week before your wedding so I am able to prepare them to last all day/night.
How do I prepare my hair for my wedding?
Believe it or not the preparation you do on your hair before I arrive is extremely important. I would love it if both you and your wedding party are able to follow these preparation instructions:
