Frequently Asked Questions

Bridal Hair Hunter Valley/Central Coast

Are you Covid-Safe?

Yes, M Flair Hair Artistry is registered as Covid-Safe with Service NSW and carries the Service NSW QR Code.

What happens if Covid-19 affects my wedding?

If you are thinking about, or in the process of postponing your wedding to a different date due to Covid-19,  please refer to the below conditions and let me know ASAP.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. To secure your wedding date I require a $150.00 non-refundable booking deposit. Wedding dates cannot be held without acceptance of your quote and your deposit paid.

When should I book you for my wedding?

I highly recommend that you book as soon as you have your wedding date confirmed; this is to ensure that you will not miss out on your date. The closer you get to your wedding date, the less likely I am to have availability.

How far do you travel?

I travel all over the Central Coast, up to Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens. Please enquire within to receive travel costs and locations.

Can I pay for my wedding in advance?

Unfortunately, with the unpredictable nature of Covid-19, I will not be accepting any pre-payments. The remaining balance is to be paid no more than 2 weeks prior to your wedding date via bank transfer.

Do you do offer makeup with your hair services?

Unfortunately, I do not offer makeup with my hair services. I do however work alongside some amazing makeup artists and I am happy to recommend them to you.

What brands do you use?

I strive to only use the best products for my clients; they include Evo, Unite Hair Care and White Sands. I love and trust these products so much, that I know the outcome they will give me. Therefore, you can have peace of mind knowing that style will last all day and night.

Are hair trials necessary?

No, however I highly recommend them. They are a great way to meet me and we can discuss all your wedding plans. We can play around with ideas and styles to make sure you are 100% happy with how your hair looks and this assists with the smooth running of your wedding day. The perfect time for your hair and makeup trial is 1-5 months prior to your wedding day, by this time all the finer wedding details are sorted.

To lock in a trial date, please book at least 8 weeks out from your intended trial date. Pictures & Pinterest boards are a great way to show me your style & to find a look that you love, please bring them along with you on your trial day.

How close to my wedding should I refresh my colour?

I suggest the week leading up to your wedding is best. Please ensure that it is not the day or two before your special day just in case you have a little colour stain on your face. If you were thinking of a complete colour change, it is best to trial this a couple months prior to your wedding. This can help with getting the colour perfect and making sure you love the change.

Do you work with extensions?

Yes, I do. Clip in extensions or a hair halo are great options for your wedding as they are easy to work with and do not cost a fortune. However, they are very soft and slippery to work with, so please note, there is a $20.00 preparation/attachment fee for all extensions.
