Hair Preparation – Part 2

Colour

Bridal Hair Hunter Valley/Central Coast

In part 1, we went through choosing a style based on your desired look. In this part we are talking about colour.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Colour can enhance and create depth to any style. Correct placement of foils and balayage can give your style definition where you need it and can take your style to the next level.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A few things to keep in mind when it comes to colour for your wedding day:⠀

  • Don’t change your colour too close to your day – you want to look like yourself and love your colour. If you want a change, it is best to do the change gradually and a few months out from your day. That way your hair will still be in great condition and you can get used to your new look. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Show your hairdresser your wedding inspiration pictures. They can have a chat to you about your colour and how to enhance your style with depth and dimension. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Have your wedding colour refresh no closer than a week before your wedding. This allows time for your scalp to adjust and any potential stains will be gone by your special day.⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you are unsure on how to enhance your style have a chat to myself or your regular hairdresser to work out a plan for your wedding. Please don’t hesitate to contact me via email monica@mflair.com.au 💕
