WEDDING HAIR PREPARATION

Bridal, Wedding Hair, Hunter Valley, Central Coast, Newcastle, Port Stephens M Flair Hair Artistry

Hair preparation is a very important step to ensure your style lasts all day and night.

Clean hair is best! Forget the term “dirty” when styling; you will get beautiful, longer lasting results when your hair is washed the night before.

Please follow the below instructions to get the best out of your hair

Please wash your hair the night before unless advised otherwise.

Shampoo 3 times (minimum) focusing all over the scalp, then lightly condition mid-lengths and ends. Try to avoid products that have parabens, silicones, isopropyl alcohol, and sulphates (e.g., Pantene, Palmolive, TRESemme, Sun Silk etc), as they affect how your hair acts and handles styling products.

Without applying any product (i.e., treatments, smoothing creams, serums/oils), gently blow-dry or let your hair dry naturally.

Avoid using heat styling tools prior to my arrival – this includes straighteners and curling wands. Unless advised otherwise – it is also best to avoid heavy treatments/conditioners for a week leading up to your event.

The morning of your event

Please make sure your hair is clean and dry when I arrive and you are wearing something comfortable that can be easily removed (i.e., a loose button up shirt or robe). This is to ensure your hairstyle is not affected when you get changed.

For safety and hygiene measures, I request to be in a room that has good ventilation, natural sunlight/decent lighting, and a clean surface area to work from.

Monica was lovely throughout the whole process, so kind with date and venue changes. She was just like another bridesmaid on the day having a laugh with us. My hair was perfect just the right amount of glam and movement, didn’t feel like I had a hair full of hairspray. Definitely recommend
