Why your Wedding Hair Trial is so important

One of the most popular questions when booking your wedding is if I think a hair trial is important. The answer is, yes!

A trial gives you the opportunity to make sure your chosen style suits you. Not all styles work for everyone’s hair types or personalities.

Here are some key reasons as to why a hair trial is so important.

To meet each other

We will be spending several hours together, in a very intimate setting, and it is nice to see a friendly face arrive. You want to feel comfortable with me and to make sure I understand the style and vibe that you’re aiming for on your wedding day. On your wedding morning, you will have so many thoughts running through your mind, and the last thing you want to be stressing about is if you picked the right style for you, or going over your schedule because you are still discussing details that we could have discussed during your trial.

You will know your options

Please keep in mind that your desired look may not always look the same on you as it does on the model in your inspiration photo. Most inspiration photos have been tailored specifically for that style with extensions and hair colours to achieve that look. You can find comfort in knowing that I will help steer you I the right direction to re-create your perfect style. By having a trial, I will become familiar with how your hair responds to certain products/ tools to make sure it lasts all throughout the day and night. I will also suggest a few options to help tailor your style to suit you and your wedding style.

Upon completion of your trial, I will know how much we will need on your wedding day. If you have really long, thick hair, we may need more time to set the curls. Or, if your look will require hair extensions, we’ll know if we need extra time to prep and clip them in.

Accessories

Unsure of accessories? Once we have finalised your look, we can discuss the best hair accessories that will compliment your hairstyle. You can either bring some with you to try, or I have a small range that we can trial on the day.
